Carpentry & Finishing Work
Dad has spent 25 years doing renovation, remodeling and carpentry, and I am learning alongside him. If your home needs carpentry as part of a renovation or a smaller improvement, tell us what you have in mind. We can discuss the details and whether the project fits our work.
Discuss your project ↗Before we start
Planning your project
Show the detail you want to change
A wide photo of the space and a closer photo of the detail can make the first conversation easier. Explain what is damaged, missing or no longer working for you. If the work needs to match something existing, include a photo of that too.
Discuss materials and finish
Tell us whether the result will be painted, stained or left with a natural finish. Existing profiles, dimensions and neighboring surfaces can affect the approach. We can work through these choices before settling on the scope.
Connect it to the rest of the project
Carpentry often sits alongside flooring, drywall and painting. Let us know which other changes are planned and whether anything has already started. Understanding the whole project helps us discuss the order of the work.
Can I ask about a carpentry job that is not listed on the site?
Yes. Describe the work and where your home is located. We will discuss the scope with you and let you know whether it is something we can take on.
We serve Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC. Include your town or ZIP code when you get in touch so we can discuss your location and timing.
